Push Notifications

When you opt in to receive push notifications, your device registers a push token with Apple's Push Notification service (APNs). This token is used solely to deliver the daily cat photo notification to your device. We do not associate this token with any personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose other than sending you the cat photos you requested.

Stored Cat Photos

The cat photos you receive are stored locally on your device in the app's gallery. These photos are not uploaded to any server, shared with any third parties, or used for any purpose beyond your personal enjoyment within the app.

Data We Store

The only information we store on our servers is:

• Anonymous push notification tokens (not linked to any personal information)
• Your notification preference settings (time window for receiving notifications)
• The cat photos that are sent to all users

None of this data can be used to identify you personally.

Third-Party Services

The Daily Cat uses Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications and Firebase Cloud Storage for hosting cat photos. These services process data according to their respective privacy policies, but we do not provide them with any personally identifiable information about you.

Children's Privacy

Our app is suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect any personal information, we comply with children's privacy protection laws including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).
